Top 10 UK housebuilder, Keepmoat, is today breaking ground on the second phase of its Farington Mews development which will create 212 new homes.
The development on Croston Road in Leyland will also create 18 new affordable homes through partnership with housing association Onward Homes. As well as providing homes for affordable rent, Onward will also support local people onto the housing ladder through shared ownership.
As the construction on phase one draws into its final stage, work on the second phase has commenced and will create another 212 homes on the site.
Due to complete in 2030, the full Farington Mews project will deliver 521 new energy-efficient homes, creating much needed homes for local people.

During the development of Farington Mews, the team created 21 new apprenticeships, five full-time jobs and 18 work experience placements. The team also partnered with the Lancashire Careers Hub to provide valuable insights into the different job roles available in the industry.
