Work started at new housing site in Lindley

A leading housebuilder says work is now under way on a new housing development in Lindley, Huddersfield.

Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire was given the green light by Kirklees Council to begin construction on the site off Crosland Road, with 30 homes scheduled to be built.

The Crosland Meadows development, as it will become known, will deliver a mix of three and four bedroom homes.

Simon Whalley, sales director at Persimmon Homes West Yorkshire, says:

“The location is key.”

“Lindley is just three miles from Huddersfield centre yet still has a charming village atmosphere. It’s a popular area with good schools and all the local amenities needed for daily life plus excellent commuter links to Bradford, Leeds and Manchester.

“We are expecting this small cluster of new homes will generate a lot of interest and will not be available for long.”

Buyers looking to move into their dream home will be able to access the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme, Persimmon’s Part Exchange and Home Change packages.

Simon added:

“Our sales team is on site from the middle of January and we are working towards releasing our first properties for sale later that month.”

“We are encouraging customers to register their interest so we can keep them up-to-date with the site’s developments.”
