An ambitious saleswoman from Oundle has said she can’t wait to get into work every day after landing a job as field sales manager with a leading house builder.
Wendy Menck has been promoted from regional sales trainer at Peterborough-based Persimmon Homes East Midlands.
Wendy, whose CV prior to joining Persimmon in 2013 includes time with Spicerhaart as well as working in real estate in the USA, said:
“I enjoyed the job as trainer but I missed the buzz of sales. I’m delighted to be back in the thick of it. I absolutely love it. I wake up in the morning and I can’t wait to get to work.
“I worked with the same team in my previous role so I know they are a hard-working bunch – and also great fun.”
One of Wendy’s first jobs will be to plan and execute the launch of Persimmon Homes’ new Hansons Reach development in Stewartby, Bedford. The development will launch later this month and has already attracted huge interest.
“It’s a really exciting scheme with more than 700 properties.
“It’s a great time to be joining the sales team as there is so much going on. House building is booming at Persimmon.”
Wendy said she was really looking forward to a long-term career within the Sales Team.
Steven Allenby, the newly appointed Director of Sales and Marketing and Persimmon Homes East Midlands, said:
“I’m pleased that Wendy has decided to come back into sales as she has a real passion for it.
“She has a wealth of experience gained from many years within the industry, and that will help our sales advisers grow and mature.
“These are busy times for us – and we are already preparing for what will undoubtedly be a very successful 2016.”
Persimmon Homes East Midlands currently has properties for sale across the region, including in Raunds, Oundle and Peterborough.
