With the most important event in the timber industry’s calendar just around the corner, some of the sectors biggest brands have released details of exciting new product launches at Timber Expo in October.
Among those launching new products is Owatrol. Specialists in timber protection coatings, Owatrol will also be launching a brand new product at Timber Expo. Textrol UV+ is specifically designed for cladding applications and is a clear coating that provides three years of guaranteed UV protection. The company will also be bringing a selection of its other wood oil, opaque stain and eco-friendly, water-based coating products to the show.
Those looking for high quality timber garden products should make sure they pay a visit to Jagram’s stand. Launching a new specialist, double-curved gluelam product called Spiral as well as three new hanging chairs, one of which is foldable and made exclusively from laminated curves, its stand is not to be missed. Plus, every visitor to Jagram’s stand that leaves their business card will be in with a chance of winning one of its brand new products.
Another must see will be Eurotec’s recently launched Stone System for quick installation of deck boards and stone slabs, along with Steico’s new Durelisdek deck option for housebuilders, developers and tradespeople offering an improved peel clean system for better onsite protection of exposed floors during construction.

Visitors will get to see exhibitors covering the entire breadth of the industry from timber frame to sawmills, merchants, glulam, SIPs, CLT, fixings and fastenings, cladding, doors and windows, mouldings, skirtings, flooring and more.
Other key features of the show will be the comprehensive seminar schedule at the Timber Focus Theatre coordinated by leading industry association TRADA as well as an exciting Offsite Zone. This area will showcase the latest in offsite construction from the industry’s major players and host a series of dedicated seminars that will focus on key industry developments and provide a comprehensive and balanced perspective on this rapidly evolving sector.
In addition, the Timber Flooring Workshop will be a must see for those wanted to learn new skills.
