Redrow launch new homes at flagship Colindale Gardens development in North London

Leading housebuilder Redrow will be launching a brand-new release of apartments at Colindale Gardens, the bustling new community being created on the site of the former Metropolitan Police training centre in North London. The latest launch features a collection of 56 two- and three- bedroom homes which will sit within Citrine House; the properties will boast views across landscaped gardens and plentiful outdoor space.

The latest launch is another significant step in the delivery of 4,100 new homes at Colindale Gardens. To date, more than circa 1,400 homeowners have moved into the thriving neighbourhood which hosts a stunning four-acre park at its core.

All of the new apartments in Citrine House will offer an open plan kitchen and living room creating an inviting, practical space. The kitchen will feature modern integrated appliances and smart soft close cabinets, with the option of personalising kitchens and bathroom colours at certain build stages. What is truly special about Citrine House, is that every single apartment in the block will feature outdoor space whether it be a garden, balcony, or terrace; allowing residents to enjoy the beautiful green spaces of Colindale Gardens from the comfort of their own homes. Every resident will also have access to a secluded podium garden.

Reflecting the central ethos of Colindale Gardens and the priority placed on creating a green and open environment, residents in Citrine House will enjoy private outdoor space in the form of a balcony or terrace as well as access to Garden Square West.  Set across 47 acres, a fifth of the land in this new neighbourhood is dedicated to open green spaces for residents and the surrounding community to enjoy, including communal gardens, cycle-paths, walkways, and attractive landscaping. All residents of the newly launched homes will also have access to a 24-hour concierge and outdoor play areas and exercise equipment.

Colindale is also undergoing a transformation, with significant investment funding earmarked. Plans will bring new high-quality homes, amenities, services, facilities, and transport upgrades to both Colindale and the surrounding areas of Brent Cross, West Hendon and Cricklewood. There are also future plans for local shops, cafés, and restaurants at Colindale Gardens to help create a vibrant new destination, as well as a health centre which will provide essential community facilities on residents’ doorsteps.

Collindale Gardens is a short stroll from Colindale Station on the Northern Line, with access to both the West End (23 minutes) and the City (29 minutes) in under half an hour.

Jody Bryant, head of sales at Redrow Greater London, said:

“As we embark on the latest phase of work at our flagship London development Colindale Gardens, we are excited to see the community we envisioned at the development’s infancy now coming to life. The grounds are always bustling with residents meeting with friends and family and there are genuine friendships made here amongst neighbours.

“Citrine House will sit within the thoughtfully designed communal areas and elegant gardens at our bustling new North London community. Lush green spaces sit within the DNA of Colindale Gardens and each of these new homes offer private outdoor space and access to our easy coveted four-acre parkland.”

The homes in Citrine House are due to complete in Autumn 2023. Two-bedroom properties start at £537,500, with three-bedroom homes starting from £610,000.
