Potential Perth and Kinross developers urged to act now

Property consultants Bidwells is encouraging residents, landowners and potential developers to make representations regarding Perth and Kinross’s Local Development Plan before the public consultation ends on 16 March.

The Council is asking for residents and businesses to share their views on how the future of the area will be shaped in terms of housing, provision of business land, the natural and built environment, transport and green energy issues.

Corinne McDougall, principal planner with Bidwells said:

“There are a number of public consultation events currently being held throughout the region offering you the chance to have your say on new development proposals and wider issues affecting the region.

“The consultation is also calling for written representations to help Perth and Kinross Council develop their emerging Local Development Plan and we are in the process of preparing written representations to the Council for some sites in our portfolio.

“This consultation process is particularly pertinent if you have development aspirations for land that you own or a site for which you would like a representation made. If you have comments on or objections to any future development options and potential land use proposals put forward in the Main Issues Report, now is the time to act. “
