Pennyfarthing Homes is pleased to confirm that the purchase of the development land, comprising the Danes Park development, was completed at the end of February 2025. The sale follows years of strategic planning and investment to bring 164 high-quality homes and community benefits to the New Milton area.
Homes at Danes Park will deliver a range of one- and two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom bungalows, and two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes, offering an excellent choice for local home-movers, from first-time buyers and young families to downsizers.
Pennyfarthing Homes acquired the 10-hectare (25-acre) Brockhills Lane site in 2016 and after planning promotion successfully secured its inclusion in the New Forest District Council Local Plan in 2020. A subsequent planning application for 164 homes of which 50% are affordable was approved in February 2024
The development, now known as Danes Park, is progressing in line with its planning approval in April 2025, with 50% of the homes being designated as affordable housing, helping to meet local demand.
The sale of the affordable housing units, which will comprise rented and shared ownership, has also now been completed, to the New Forest District Council which Pennyfarthing will construct on its behalf.

The Brockhills land sale marks a significant step in the broader development strategy of Danes Park, which spans 10 hectares, with nearly half of the site allocated to green spaces and recreational areas with further infrastructure improvements being delivered on and off-site. Pennyfarthing Homes remains committed to enhancing the local environment and improving road safety through offsite highway upgrades.
