Penny Piece Lane designs revealed for new housing in North Anston

Designs can now be revealed for the new housing development in the South Yorkshire village of North Anston following full planning permission being granted by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council for Duchy Homes to build twenty-eight executive homes and affordable bungalows.

Situated on Penny Piece Lane, the new development named Lime Grove will combine 4-bedroom and 5-bedroom detached houses with 2-bedroom bungalows to address a recognised need for such housing within the local area.

Duchy Homes is committed to delivering a high-quality residential scheme using attractive stone- built designs and luxury interiors to enhance the character and prestige of the existing village. Its carefully-considered proposal has addressed site constraints including access from Penny Piece Lane. As part of the agreement, the existing highway alignment will be modified to improve highway safety with the existing stone waling to the front of site repositioned to retain the rural impact and charm of the lane.

Experienced providers of award-winning developments across Yorkshire, Duchy Homes has recently delivered highly-regarded housing at nearby Braithwell, Sprotborough, Cantley and Penistone. Buyers at Lime Grove can expect only the best luxury homes with premium build-quality and luxury fittings and interiors, set amongst a beautifully-green landscape with inspiring views.

With the M1 and M18 easily-accessible from the new development and Kiveton Park Railway just five minutes away with direct trains to Sheffield, Retford and beyond, Lime Grove makes an excellent commuter base for Sheffield, Worksop and Rotherham. Home to the limestone gorge of Anston Stones Wood, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, as well as popular attractions Tropical Butterfly House and the Wildlife and Falconry Centre, North Anston also offers the perfect setting for families to enjoy.

Works are scheduled to begin next month at Lime Grove with roads and sewers going in, followed by ground works at the end of the year. The new homes are expected to be released for sale in Spring 2019, but buyers can register their interest now at
