National consultancy Pegasus Group has secured full planning permission for a further 177 homes at a popular development in Coventry on behalf of Persimmon Homes.
Phase 2 of Bluebell Wood will deliver a range of 2, 3 and 4- bedroom properties of which 36 will be affordable. Each home has at least one parking space with the majority including room for 2 cars. Integral and detached garages are also included throughout the development.
Pegasus Group’s urban design team, based in Leeds, worked closely with Persimmon to obtain the backing of Coventry City Council for the land off Middle Ride, Willenhall Wood.
Chris Hunter, Senior Director at Pegasus, said:
“We were delighted that our urban design team was able to obtain full planning permission for the next phase of this very popular development.
“We worked closed with Persimmon Homes and the city council on issues around design, layout and landscaping proposals as well as financial contributions and were pleased that the application received officers’ recommendation for approval.”
Persimmon Homes Central launched its Bluebell Wood development of 155 homes in May 2018. With good commuter links the site is also close to Willenhall Wood – renowned for its stunning display of bluebells in early summer, which gave the development its name.
