A leading UK housebuilder is to bring more than 500 properties to Harrow with the launch of a new development on an historic site in the borough later this year.
Persimmon Homes North London is to build on part of the site which was the home of camera giants Kodak.
The housebuilder will release 63 houses in its first phase on the development, with a range of two, three and four bedroom homes on sale for house hunters.
Greg Kaye, head of sales for Persimmon Homes North London, said:
“We are fully aware of the historic significance of the location and wanted to acknowledge the former owners of the site. With that in mind, we are delighted to name all house types on the development after famous photographers.
“This first release offers a range of stylish two, three and four bedroom houses which makes it an ideal location for young professionals, couples or families.”
Persimmon’s Harrow View West development forms part of a wider plan by the Greater London Authority, which is` creating a new ‘Heart of Harrow’ housing zone which covers Harrow and Wealdstone.
It is designed to accelerate the delivery of more than 5,000 much needed new homes in the area.
