Housebuilder Avant Homes has donated £1,000 to provide Dunipace Juniors with a new football kit ahead of the 2016/17 season.
The team – which was formed in 1888, making it one of the oldest clubs in Scotland – consists of children between the ages of seven and eight from the local area.
Councillor for Denny and Banknock Ward Paul Garner, who helped to arrange the sponsorship, commented:
“The continuing existence of small, community teams, such as Dunipace Juniors, depends on kind donations and I’m delighted Avant Homes has supported the team for this year.”
“The new strips look fantastic and I’m sure the team will do themselves proud in the upcoming season.”
Situated in close proximity to Avant Homes’ Chacefield View development, Dunipace Juniors trains at Denny Football Centre from 7pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Theresa Barbour, sales and marketing director for Avant Homes in Scotland, commented:
“Avant Homes is committed to supporting the communities in which it has its developments and we’re very happy to be sponsoring Dunipace Juniors. The team has been a local institution for generations and I hope the donation will help it continue for years to come.”
Chacefield View offers a fantastic range of three and four-bedroom family homes with prices starting from £194,995 to 299,9950.
Avant Homes can also help to ease the stress of moving by offering to purchase a customer’s existing property, with its part exchange scheme. This alleviates the worry of sourcing a new buyer or waiting in a chain helping customers to save money on estate agents fees and be in their new home in six weeks.
