We are delighted to have been approved as a provider for the Heat Training Grant.
As a company, we set out with a mission to provide a simplified route for existing heating engineers nibeto diversify into low carbon solutions and become MCS Certified heat pump installers. With our streamlined, professional, and all-inclusive training and partnership programme, NIBE Pro, we are confident that we can contribute to a highly skilled workforce that is well equipped to spearhead the decarbonising of home heating.
Now, with the Heat Training Grant, installers can take advantage of NIBE Pro for the even lower price of £1,300. This includes the full suite of benefits, the RQF Level 3 Award in Heat Pump Technology, and the CIPHE Low Temperature Heating and Hot Water in Dwellings Course. The scheme also includes full technical support through a dedicated team, and access to extended warranties on selected products.
What’s more, the initial training costs for NIBE Pros are fully redeemable across product purchases too. Combined with this additional help from the Heat Training Grant, the upfront redeemable fee is significantly reduced. This means that we’re providing an accessible route to becoming an industry recognised and trusted heat pump installer with no long-term cost to the learner.
We fully support the Government’s renewed focus on low carbon heating. With current estimates from the Climate Change Committee (CCC) stating that around 30,000 new heat pump engineers will be needed by 2030 to help us reach our installation targets, this added financial support will help to kickstart the future workforce.
Phil Hurley, Managing Director of NIBE Energy Systems, said:
“We are delighted to be an approved training provider eligible for the Heat Training Grant. Installers will be at the heart of our transition to low carbon heating, and we are excited to be at the forefront of delivering best in class heat pump training to our NIBE Pro members.
High training costs for an industry still in its infancy is part of the hesitancy experienced by many across the country. By offering our simplified, fully supported training support scheme at an even lower cost, we can contribute to creating a highly skilled workforce fit for the future.”
The grant scheme is open to trainees from today. Those interested in subsidised NIBE Pro training should register their interest today on our website.
