Dandara has appointed Alex Dowling as Sales Director for its South East division, as the independent housebuilder continues to expand its footprint across Kent, Sussex and Surrey.
With over two decades of experience in the property industry – including nine years in senior roles at Barratt Homes – Alex brings both strategic insight and on-the-ground knowledge of the new homes market. Since joining Dandara in August, he has led the newly rebuilt South East sales team, laying the groundwork for a significant increase in live developments over the next year.
Alex began his career in East London as an estate agent before moving into the new homes sector with St James, FABRICA and Barratt. His appointment comes at a key moment for the region, with plans to increase the number of active sites by 75% and strengthen customer experience across every touchpoint.

In his new role, Alex will oversee all sales activity for the region, working closely with land, planning and construction teams to align the customer journey from first enquiry to completion.
