Martin Grant Homes has launched the third phase of homes at its Buckton Fields development in Northampton. The new collection will see a total of 50 two, three, four and five bedroom homes.
Buckton Fields is situated in the Northampton village of Boughton. It is approximately 15 minutes from the town of Northampton, which has undergone significant economic and infrastructure investment in recent times including the £15m refurbishment of the train station and the opening of a brand new £350m university campus in September of this year. The investment has made a positive impact on the area’s property market, with house prices in the East Midlands town experiencing an impressive rise of 19% in the last three years.
A total of 12 different house types will be launched in the new phase at Buckton Fields. The two, three, four and five bedroom homes enjoy a variety of layouts and designs to provide wide ranging choice for buyers. Martin Grant Homes has said it expects interest to come from both the local area as well as commuters seeking better value outside of the capital, which can be reached in just 54 minutes from Northampton train station, less than four miles from the development.
Chris Hamilton, managing director of Martin Grant Homes, comments:
“We’re pleased to be bringing this new collection of homes to the market at Buckton Fields, a development that has been one of our most popular to date and especially with first time buyers. The prices at Buckton Fields represent excellent value for money and an opportunity for house-hunters to get their foot on the ladder at a vibrant new community.”
In addition to the shopping facilities and restaurants, Northampton benefits from a number of cultural institutions including a museum and art gallery, whilst the Royal Derngate Theatre and multi-screen cinemas are also popular. Educational establishments include a mixture of high quality state schools such as Northampton School for Boys and private schools such as Northampton School for Girls, both of which are rated “outstanding” by Ofsted.
Plans for the Buckton Fields site include land identified by Northamptonshire County Council to build a primary school, subject to obtaining the necessary approvals, and Martin Grant Homes has also committed to investing further money in local community amenities. A Park and Ride service will offer a connection for residents into the centre of Northampton, three miles from the development.
