Mactaggart & Mickel do like to be beside the seaside

Award-winning homebuilder Mactaggart & Mickel have announced the launch of Phase 3 of their popular costal development, Greenan Views in Doonfoot, Ayrshire, coming later this year.

44 new homes will built at the stunning location, which offers views from the west coast across to Arran. The mix of homes from three bedroom semi-detached, to four and five-bed detached villas will include the popular three-bedroom detached Bryce, the four-bedroom detached Miller and five-bedroom detached Telford, with the first release of homes planned for mid-November.

Joanne Casey, Director at Mactaggart & Mickel, said:

“Greenan Views has been an incredibly popular location with homebuyers keen to live in such a fantastic place. Beautiful beaches and golf courses are right on the doorstep and phase 3 has been designed to include many green and open spaces, marrying with the feel of the overall development.

We have also seen a notable surge in interest for properties in rural and suburban settings as homebuyers balance a work and home life that looks very different to a few short years ago.”

Looking for the perfect blend of community and countryside, Gillian Dunsmuir moved into Greenan Views in 2020. She said: “I was so taken with Greenan Views because I’d grown up in the middle of the countryside. When I first visited I saw it was blessed with lots of green space in front of it so I knew it was perfect for me.

“I’m able to enjoy the best of both worlds – a countryside feeling because nothing was going to get in the way of my view and feeling part of a community.

I was also really impressed with the overall quality of the house, efficiency of the heating system, the warmth and the high quality of the finishes so I had no intention of taking my chances elsewhere.”
