Award-winning residential developer London Square has completed on the purchase of a first-class site in the heart of affluent Teddington in south-west London, with planning permission to create a smart new £30million traditional residential square.
The 0.9-acre site on Waldegrave Road is a former light industrial site and office building. London Square acquired the site in March 2012 and now has planning permission granted by the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames for 18 three and four bedroom houses and 8 one and two bedroom apartments.
Located close to both the high street and the station, the gated development will be set around a central landscaped square and include underground parking.
Brian Betsy, Managing Director at London Square, said:
“Following the success of our exclusive new square in Fulham, we are creating a traditional square in Teddington, with gardens and open space, reflecting the enduring popularity of this historic design. Teddington is an attractive area for families and young professionals, close to the Thames; with good schools, leisure facilities and transport links to central London. This site supports our ethos of delivering prime sites in highly coveted areas of London where there is continuing demand for new homes.”
London Square will start on site in spring 2014 and sales are expected early 2015.
