Launch success for East Manchester development

The launch of a stylish new collection of homes has been met with high demand with three homes sold in the first five minutes.

Lovell launched East Avenue, in Upper Openshaw, ‘off-plan’ at an exclusive preview event for homebuyers who had registered their interest in the development.

Three four-bedroom family homes were snapped up in a matter of minutes as homebuyers had their first glimpse of the properties on the first release.

Clare Noakes, regional sales manager for Lovell in the North West, said:

“We had a hugely promising response from those who attended the launch and we were delighted to take three very quick reservations. We’re building a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes at the development so there is something to suit everyone and prospective purchasers were really happy with the choice on offer. They were particularly pleased that the homes feature such a high specification and include gardens and off-road parking, all just two miles from Manchester city centre.”

While the homes have launched off-plan to meet demand, Lovell will be opening a marketing suite at the location in April, and show homes will open later in the year.

Until then, the homes will sell from Lovell’s sales office at Axis @ The Way in Beswick and would-be purchasers can view show homes in a range of styles across Lovell’s other developments in Manchester, with more show case properties opening this spring. Due to the high levels of interest, those interested in homes at East Avenue are being urged to get in touch with Lovell without delay.

Clare added:

“With RICS predicting house price rises in the North West of 6% this year, it’s no surprise that savvy buyers are reserving properties ‘off-plan’. Our homes at East Avenue are well suited to those working in the city centre, just a two-mile commute down Ashton Old Road, as well as families who want to be close to everything the city has to offer, while still benefitting from a spacious home with outdoors space and parking.”

Homebuyers who buy early in the build process can have their pick of interior choices from kitchen units and worktops to tiling and flooring choices, enabling them to create a home that fits their practical needs and design preferences perfectly. The houses also include money-saving features like low energy appliances, heating, lighting and water systems, and a Smart Meters as standard.

Help to Buy: Equity Loans are available for customers with just a 5% deposit. They could receive a 20% equity loan from the government, interest free for five years, which means they will only need a mortgage for 75% of the property price from their lender of choice.

Homes at East Avenue start from £118,500 for a two-bedroom design, £134,950 for a three-bedroom home and £185,995 for a four-bedroom style.

Openshaw itself is thriving following multi-million pound investments in housing and amenities. Just 250 yards from East Avenue, the new £40 million District Centre includes a Morrisons supermarket, high street shops, offices and a health and fitness centre.

A sales office will open on site in April, with show homes to follow later in the year, but homebuyers can reserve now by visiting the sales office at Axis @ The Way in Beswick. For more information call 0161 636 0970 or visit www.eastavenuehomes.co.uk.
