Landmark Workington development nears completion

A landmark new homes development in Workington is nearing completion, with just a handful of properties left for sale.

Forgehill Park, on Moss Bay Road, was launched by Persimmon Homes in 2012 and, over the past three years, almost 90 homes have been occupied.

Persimmon Lancashire sales director Diane Finch said:

“We opened Forgehill Park with a jubilee themed showhome, because it coincided with the Queen’s diamond jubilee – and the site has been a right royal success.

“People love the great coastal location, within commuting distance of Carlisle and fabulous countryside, and the homes have been very popular with first time buyers and families.

“In fact, of the 92 properties we set out to build here, there are only three left so anyone interested should hurry or risk missing out.”

All of the remaining properties are three storey, three bedroom Greyfriars style homes, ready for immediate occupation, and priced from £137,995.

Diane added:

“These last houses offer very flexible accommodation, with Juliet balconies giving fabulous views over the Solway Firth from a first floor lounge, as well benefiting from a ground floor sitting room.

“For a limited time we are able to include the Persimmon Ultimate Offer which means buyers can access the Help to Buy or Part Exchange schemes, have their stamp duty paid and £1,000 towards legal fees and we even include flooring throughout the property, turf and fencing and gate to the garden.”

Enquiries about the properties can be made at Persimmon’s Bellaport Gardens development in Harrington, or by calling 01946 831 885.

Positioned at the mouth of the River Derwent, Forgehill Park is ideally placed to access Whinlatter Forest Park, convenient transport links, leisure facilities, schools and local amenities.
