Hemp is a fast-growing, renewable crop made in local UK farms that captures carbon from the atmosphere as it grows, meaning the insulation stores carbon rather than emitting it. The sustainable approach continues throughout the homes, which feature British sustainable kitchens made with 70% recycled materials, natural British slate on the roof and solar panels installed by Naked Solar, based locally in Newquay.
