A leading housebuilder has called for more tradesmen to pick up their toolboxes to help keep up with booming demand across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Persimmon Homes Anglia is building hundreds of stunning new homes in the region as the industry continues to flourish.
And the company needs more tradesmen and women to help with the construction work, including bricklayers and carpenters.
Shaun Marjoram, construction director for Persimmon Homes Anglia, said:
“The housing industry really is booming at the moment and we have new build developments going up right across Norfolk and Suffolk. However we need more tradesmen and women involved in all aspects of house building to meet the current demand.
“The rates of pay have risen back to where they were before the recession and we’d be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to get back on site.”
The tradesmen will operate on a self-employed basis and anyone who is interested in working for Persimmon Homes Anglia should contact Julie Williams at the company’s regional headquarters in Lowestoft on 01502 516784.
“House building plays a vital role in the economy with so many people working in so many different areas. We are looking for talented people to jump on board with Persimmon.”
