Buyers urged to hurry as work starts on much-anticipated development

Buyers are being urged to hurry if they want to secure a brand new apartment in East Sussex as interest builds in the forthcoming properties.

Regional builder Charles Church South East said buyers were flocking to register their interest in the much-anticipated development in Hellingly.

Only 44 homes will be released at Roebuck Mansions, on The Drive, a purpose-built development of luxurious one and two bedroom apartments, designed with first time buyers, investors and downsizers in mind.

Jo Richards, head of sales and marketing, said:

“Roebuck Mansions already attracting a lot of interest and we would urge people to hurry if they want to live here.

“Anyone buying off-plan will also have their pick of the plots as people can secure their favourite apartment. Reserving at this stage means people can truly personalise their home by choosing from a range of fixtures and fittings such as kitchen units, flooring, tiles or accessories.

“We believe the development is proving especially attractive because of its location – surrounded by ancient semi-natural woodland and acres of parkland, yet still close to schools, shops and excellent transport links.

“More than half of the Roebuck Park development is dedicated to parkland, play areas, allotments, a sports pavilion and cricket green, making it the ideal location for those who love the outdoors.”

The development is located close to Hellingly Village and within easy reach of the bigger town of Hailsham.

Jo added:

“Buying a new home is now more affordable and straightforward than ever thanks to incentives including the Government-backed Help to Buy, Home Change and the Persimmon Part Exchange scheme.”

Under Help to Buy, purchasers only need a five per cent deposit along with a 75 per cent mortgage while the Government supplies a 20 per cent equity loan, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.
