Antler Homes goes for growth

Since its acquisition by a team led by Literacy Capital in June 2018, luxury regional housebuilder Antler Homes has strengthened its business and is looking to expand its operations in the South East.

With their inherited sites now completed and fully sold, the first site acquired by the company under Managing Director Andrew Rinaldi in Woodley, Berkshire, comprises 21 homes. With the development having now completed at the end of November 2019, just six homes remain to be sold.

Buoyed by this success, the company has acquired a further two sites: it will develop 55 homes and eight commercial units in an idyllic waterfront setting surrounded by ancient woodlands in South Chailey, East Sussex and 18 homes and a small retail unit in a tranquil village setting in Sherborne St John, Hampshire.

From its headquarters in Bagshot, Surrey, the revitalised team is actively seeking new sites across the South East, including Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire.

“As our customers seek alternatives to the high-volume, often standardised product on offer from many of the national players, there is huge opportunity for smaller, bespoke housebuilders producing a more unique product, better suited to the local areas that we operate in” observes Rinaldi.

“We are fortunate that Antler has a high end brand name with a 40-year heritage of providing high-quality, design-led family homes and our current team is building on this history.

“Being a local housebuilder allows us to focus on the opportunities and demands of specific markets that we know well, ensuring we bring the right product to our markets. We look forward to continuing to deliver the ‘strictly limited edition’ Antler homes that we and our customers are proud of, while growing our business. Our land acquisition team is very well connected in our operating area allowing us to deliver new developments in line with customers tastes and needs
