Allison Homes South West has bolstered its senior leadership team with the appointment of two new directors, supporting the housebuilder’s ambitious regional growth trajectory amid strong demand for quality housing.
The strategic hires come as the business continues to expand operations following a year that saw significant investment in people and infrastructure. Anthony Ralph joins as Finance Director, bringing 22 years of experience from Redrow South Wales and South West divisions, where he played a pivotal role in steering high-performing teams to consistently deliver against ambitious company targets, despite challenging market conditions.
Max Pitcher has been appointed Build Director, strengthening construction leadership at a time when the housebuilding industry enters a new phase, shaped by evolving regulatory frameworks and updated sustainability requirements. Max brings with him 35 years of experience with housebuilders such as Devonshire Homes, Wain Homes and Barratt Bristol, and offers a range of skills including traditional build, timber frame and RC frame.
In addition to these senior appointments, Jacob Longman has been promoted to Commercial Director, having previously held the role of Head of Commercial at Allison Homes South West. Jacob has been with Allison Homes for almost four years, having originally joined the company as Managing Surveyor in 2022.
These appointments are complemented by a broader team expansion, including Victoria Rawlings as Sales Manager; Andy Tree as Build Manager; Dan Coleman as Project Manager; Dave May as Senior Site Manager; Stephen Harrison and Dave Scott as Site Managers; Lewis Bellamy as Assistant Site Manager; Kelly Penna as Health & Safety Manager; Nick Smith as Quantity Surveyor; Jennifer Timothy as Sales Executive; Isabelle Durrant as Commercial Administrator; Greg MacMartin as Customer Care Operative and Teoni Ware as Trainee Customer Experience Coordinator.
This growth builds on Allison Homes South West’s recent momentum, with the 2025 appointments of Glyn Mabey as Managing Director, Mark Holland as Technical Director, James Morgan as Land & Partnerships Director, and James Winfield as Land & Partnerships Manager. Allison Homes Group reported 26 promotions and 79 new hires across FY24/25, alongside six new apprentices, reflecting a commitment to scaling talent in line with operational expansion across the country. The company also recently secured a £165 million finance facility to support its continued growth across the East of England, the Midlands and South West, agreed with HSBC, NatWest and Homes England, and has been recognised once again as a 5 star housebuilder by the Home Builders Federation (HBF).
