Aldwyck Housing Group celebrated progress in the construction of Greenfields in Leighton Buzzard, at the ‘topping out’ ceremony last week.

Councillor David Bowater, Chairman of Central Bedfordshire Council, attended the event to lay the final brick on the development, which is due to be completed in spring 2016.

Greenfields facilities will be open to the community and include a restaurant, cafe, hair and beauty salon, wellbeing suites, gardens, a treatment room and a community room.

Joe Cook, Executive Director of Sales and Development at Aldwyck Housing Group, said:

‘We are delighted to mark this important stage of the Greenfields construction with the topping out ceremony, and we are looking forward to seeing the finished development in the coming spring. We would like to say a huge thank you to Cllr David Bowater for attending the event to lay the final brick on this special occasion.’
