NIBE Expert News

Hey!

It’s been a busy few months at NIBE, with new product innovations, exciting industry developments and plenty of opportunities to connect with our installer community.

Since introducing our next-generation S2060 air source heat pump earlier this year, it’s been fantastic to see the technology being put to the test in real homes. Installers Damon Blakemore and Szymon Czaban have shared their experiences of working with the S2060 across two very different projects, highlighting its ease of installation, flexibility and performance. If you haven’t seen their installation yet, you can take a look here.

November brings two great opportunities to meet the team in person. We’ll be attending UK-EX at Stamford Bridge and exhibiting at elementalLONDON, where we’ll be showcasing our latest technology, sharing expertise and connecting with professionals from across the heating and building sectors.

In this edition, we’re taking a closer look at the S2060, sharing details of our upcoming events and installer support and introducing a new feature highlighting NIBE’s expertise in the industry media.

As always, thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to seeing many of you in November.

S2060: engineered to deliver more
The next generation of heat pump technology isn’t just about improving efficiency. It’s about making installation simpler, giving installers greater flexibility and delivering outstanding performance for homeowners.

The NIBE S2060 has been developed with exactly this in mind. Using natural R290 refrigerant with a global warming potential (GWP) of just 0.02, it combines outstanding seasonal efficiency, high flow temperatures and exceptionally quiet operation in a compact, intelligent design.

With a seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP) of up to 5.33, Quiet Mark certification and advanced inverter technology that adjusts output to match heating demand, the S2060 is designed to deliver consistent comfort and efficient performance across a wide range of applications.

For installers, practical innovations make a real difference. With no R290 protective zone requirements, a compact footprint and compatibility with NIBE’s existing F and S Series controls and myUplink platform, the S2060 provides greater flexibility when designing and installing systems.

From new builds to more challenging retrofit projects, the S2060 demonstrates how thoughtful engineering can make a real difference to installation flexibility, long-term performance and everyday comfort.

Designing for decades, not product cycles

What does it really mean to design heating technology that’s built to last?

In a recent article for Heating, Plumbing & Renewables, NIBE’s Robin Adderley explores why long-term performance, reliability and ongoing manufacturer support matter just as much as the latest technological advances.

From intelligent system design to the importance of supporting installers throughout a product’s lifetime, the article highlights why lasting innovation is about much more than bringing new products to market.
