Rather than focusing purely on technical theory, the CPD uses the Springfield Village development in South West London to demonstrate how HIU design decisions influence the performance of an entire district heat network.
Serving more than 1,200 homes alongside healthcare facilities, supported living accommodation and refurbished Grade II listed buildings, Springfield Village presented a range of design and operational challenges, making it an ideal real-world example of heat network best practice.
