Groundwork has started on phase two of Bellway’s Berwick Green development in Bristol, with 95 per cent of the new homes in the first phase now complete.
The housebuilder has built almost all of the 256 homes within phase one at the development in Cribbs Causeway, and has started work on infrastructure and foundations in the second phase in readiness for building an additional 153 homes.
Work is also continuing to finish the final homes in phase one and complete the public open spaces in this part of the site, which are due to open this spring.

The first phase at Berwick Green comprises a mix of apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses. 64 homes are affordable properties, available through low-cost rent or shared ownership, and have all been handed over to housing association Sovereign Network Group.
The second phase features a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses, including a further 47 affordable homes. The first of these are due to be completed in the summer, with the first of the private homes to be ready for residents to move into later in the year.
Bellway started work at Berwick Green in 2022. The development is part of a wider 760-home project situated to the north of Cribbs Causeway.
There’s currently a choice of three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Berwick Green, with prices starting from £395,000. A further selection of homes, including two-bedroom apartments and two-bedroom houses, are coming soon.
