Barratt Redrow Appoints New Regional Managing Director For Southern Region

Housebuilder Barratt Redrow has announced the appointment of Julian Hodder as Regional Managing Director for its Southern region, overseeing the operations and performance of the company’s Kent, North Thames, Southern, Southern Counties and Redrow South East divisions.  The Region is expected to deliver 3,000 new homes this financial year – with a focus on family housing.

Having worked for Barratt Developments for over 13 years, Julian brings years of experience to his new regional role. From his first position at Barratt Homes as Regional Finance Director to his most recent position as Managing Director for Barratt Redrow Southern Counties, Julian has progressed through senior roles.

Julian Hodder, Regional Managing Director for Barratt Redrow’s Southern region, commented:

“After more than 13 years with Barratt, I’ve seen how vital local insight and long-term partnerships are to delivering the right homes in the right places – especially in a market where affordability pressures, planning complexity and supply-chain constraints continue to shape delivery.

“The merger of Barratt Redrow brought together two highly respected housebuilders, strengthening our balance sheet, operational capability and regional expertise. That puts us in an even stronger position to respond to demand and help deliver the new homes the country urgently needs, while continuing to work closely with local authorities, communities and stakeholders.

“My focus will be on driving sustainable, well-planned growth across the South – maintaining the highest standards of build quality, customer service and place-making – underpinned by a clear, long-term strategic vision for every development we bring forward.”
