VEKA plc, UK manufacturer of PVCu window and door systems, has become the first UK systems house to achieve independent conformance with the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) for its Windows product set.
The CCPI was introduced to raise standards across construction product information, to provide greater confidence that it is clear, accurate, up to date and unambiguous. VEKA’s conformance follows a rigorous independent assessment of how its windows product information is created, governed and maintained in line with the Code’s requirements.
For housebuilders operating at scale, reliable and well-governed product information is critical to reducing compliance risk, supporting audit readiness and consistency across multiple developments. CCPI conformance provides assurance that VEKA’s windows product information can be greater relied upon throughout the project lifecycle – from specification and procurement through to installation and ongoing use.
Paul Kennington, Technical Director at VEKA plc, said:
“Housebuilders and specifiers need confidence that the product information they rely on is accurate, current and properly governed. Becoming the first systems house to achieve CCPI conformance for our Windows product set demonstrates our commitment to producing clear, accurate and well-governed product information in line with the Code for Construction Product Information.”
The achievement reflects VEKA’s continued investment in robust systems, governance and responsible product information management.
