Independent housebuilder Dandara has completed a portfolio deal with VIVID that will deliver 72 affordable homes across three developments in Petersfield, West Wittering and North Mundham across Hampshire and West Sussex. The agreement is the second time the two organisations have partnered and is an early milestone for Dandara’s Partnerships division in its Southern region.
The deal brings together multiple sites under a single strategic partnership, supporting the delivery of affordable homes in several communities. It reflects a shared commitment to responding to acute local housing need while maintaining quality, consistency and long-term value for residents.
Under the agreement, the 72 homes will be delivered across all three locations, with each scheme contributing a material number of affordable units. The tenure mix will include affordable rented and shared ownership homes, aligned to local requirements and VIVID’s delivery priorities.
Delivery across the portfolio is scheduled to commence from April 2026, with the sites expected to be phased in line with planning status and build sequencing.
The partnership is one of the first agreements secured by Dandara’s Partnerships division and demonstrates the team’s ability to deliver across multiple locations through a single programme, rather than progressing sites on a standalone basis demonstrating their operational capability.
Richard Matthews, Managing Director of Partnerships at Dandara, said:
“This is exactly the kind of partnership we set out to build when we launched the division. Working with VIVID across three sites shows what can be achieved when there’s a shared focus on delivery and a willingness to think beyond individual schemes. It’s a strong early milestone for the team and a clear signal of our ambition for affordable housing delivery in the South.”
Tristan Samuels, Group Development & New Business Director, VIVID said:
“We’re really pleased to be working with Dandara on this programme. It means we can bring more affordable homes to local people across Hampshire and West Sussex, which is something we know makes a big difference. By joining forces on several sites, we can move faster and make sure families have access to good quality homes sooner.”
Further details on the individual schemes, including confirmed unit numbers and tenure splits by site, will be announced as the developments progress.
