Cube Homes, a housebuilder with developments across the Northwest of England, has recently welcomed Project Manager Emma Ambrose to the team. Emma will be responsible for managing people, resources and the overall delivery of Cube Homes’ developments.
The construction industry is one of the most male-dominated fields in the UK, with statistics from 2024 showing that the number of women in construction only made an approximate 15% of the industry. Additionally, the construction sector has experienced a large employment gap as estimates show the UK needing around 251,500 new workers by 2028 to meet project workload.
Emma, who will be based in Manchester joins with over four years experience in the property industry. Emma began cube homher career in the industry by completing an Apprenticeship in Home Sales for a local Housing Association progressing within the in-house development team and thus finding her love for project management. Focusing on Cube Homes’ portfolio of developments across the Northwest, Emma will be responsible for the overall delivery of the sites all working toward Cube Homes’s ‘profit for purpose’ business model.
Emma comments: “Cube Homes has an excellent ethos of community engagement, and this is what initially drew me to join the company. Having gone straight into the working world in property, I believe my wealth of experience meant that a step into a project management role was logical for me. Having opportunities to build my confidence by travelling around the UK and grow my network has made all the difference in my personal growth. My immediate goal is to help with the housing shortage in the UK and work toward the government’s latest targets.”
Chris Heath, Managing Director at Cube Homes, adds: “Emma has already hit the ground running here at Cube Homes and has been welcomed greatly by all our teams. We aim to hire highly skilled individuals with sufficient background in training in order to build exceptional developments for our customers. Across 2025, we will be looking to work collaboratively with our existing and future contractors and prospective customers, and Emma will be instrumental in the success of our developments.”
