Planning granted for £20m, 79-home multi-tenure development near Hinckley

Avant Homes East Midlands will deliver 79 new homes near Hinckley, after being granted planning permission for a £20m multi-tenure development.

Called Chestnut Acres and located off Lychgate Lane in Burbage, the development will comprise a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.

It will feature 11 of Avant Homes’ practically designed, energy efficient house types and of the 79 properties, 17 will be affordable.

Work is expected to start on site over the winter, with the first residents anticipated to move into their new homes in Autumn 2025.

Avant Homes East Midlands has also committed to community contributions of around £900,000 towards the provision of local services, education and healthcare.
