Acorn Property Group’s Devon and Cornwall office, Acorn Blue has been appointed as the developer for a mixed-use site overlooking the much loved Gyllingvase Beach in Falmouth.
Working in partnership with St Michaels Hotel and Spa, The Liner, as the scheme is currently known, is situated on the former site of The Falmouth Beach Hotel. The development of fifty-six apartments together with a restaurant, bar and village shop has full planning permission.
“We are thrilled to be working on this magnificent scheme. I am also pleased to say we have redesigned the scheme slightly to ensure every one of the apartments will enjoy uninterrupted, south facing sea views over Gyllyngvase Beach and will feature floor to ceiling glass windows and generous balconies,” commented Nicola Markham, Joint Regional Managing Director of Acorn Blue.
Nigel Carpenter, Proprietor at St Michaels Hotel and Spa said:
“The partnership with Acorn is exciting as they fully believe in the vision for the new St Michaels Wellness Resort, where apartment buyers and investors are not just buying a property but a whole lifestyle and access to facilities and services provided by one of the South West’s leading hotel brands.”
Work is expected to start on site on the new apartments in late summer 2018 with construction anticipated to take 18-24 months.
